Hello. I've just recently upgraded from Ultimate Edition to BHaH II. I seem to be having a small issue regarding the Bad Weather Cancels Flights feature. After receiving the notification in the campaign advising that all flights are cancelled for that day, the game then automatically advances to the next day. This is all fine, but then in the briefing screen for the new day I get advised of one or more missions having taken place on the previous day. This sometimes involves members of the squadron being either killed or wounded in the outcome, like any other typical date advance when you don't fly. I only raise the issue because I don't seem to recall that happening in Ultimate Edition when flights were cancelled due to weather. I can live with it but would rather it didn't happen as it's a bit immersion breaking. The poor chaps only have a very limited life expectancy at the best of times. wink

This is happening in an un-modded BHaH II V.1.29. It happens with either the On or Optional settings selected in the Workshop for Bad Weather Cancels Flights. I am using the Historical Weather Mode, Persistent Weather Stats and Rain and Snow. It seems to be happening consistently throughout all campaigns.

Loving the sim otherwise and WOTR also. Thanks.

You could change it to optional and choose to fly - just like your AI pilots are in effect.

As always we make the features more and more complex to make it more realistic and then 300 other possibilities emerge.

Indeed. That's generally how I'm rationalizing it for the moment, putting myself down for no flying duties on those occasions. Many thanks.

Thanks Stork100. But we may look into it anyway at some point. Currently we are head down on WOTR.

Also there could be a break in the weather for other later flights at 3pm whatever... another way mentally around it.

That's a good idea. Of course the war was always moving and plans were subject to change. Makes sense. thumbsup
