Wow. That’s relatively young. I know he was still acting but I’m hard pressed to remember when the last time was that I saw him in a movie or tv show. I don't think he was ever out of work. Ray Liotta IMBD But then again, most of his movie scenarios don't appeal to you. He's not a sci fi guy.

Ray Liotta joins so many other actors who openly condemned their own smoking habit and died too early from it.
Sounds like lung cancer. R.I.P. Doubt it. By the time lung cancer evolves to the point of killing you...you would not be able to "work" and be active on a movie set. I've been through the timeline of dying from lung cancer from smoking in my family a couple times.

I always enjoyed his acting.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

I watch a lot more besides sci-fi but I think in his case he got typecast doing mostly crime/mafia stuff and I don't usually watch too much of that genre with certain exceptions like "Goodfellas" which he was brilliant in.

March 8th....you said... "The Americans" is yet another one of those shows that is critically acclaimed where I have not bothered to watch simply because the main premise doesn't interest me. You can add other shows to this list like "The Sopranos", "The Wire", "Ozark", "Yellowstone", "Boardwalk Empire" and "Breaking Bad". In other words, if it's not science fiction or historical drama I usually pass.

Yes and there is a LOT that falls under the historical drama category. Literally dozens of shows. And in your previous post you said: "But then again, most of his movie scenarios don't appeal to you. He's not a sci fi guy" which insinuates that ALL I watch is sci-fi.

All extremely popular. if it's not science fiction or historical drama I usually pass......that really narrows the field.
