Admins- tried to post a picture but UBB code does not seem to be working.

The only way I know to post an image is to use the "Attachment Manager", and then link to that in the message. That has been working.

This is a desktop screenie of how Moggy and I do it- and it is working for me


I was looking at a preview and the image is displayed.
If a user has access to a site to which they can upload pictures they can put the address between the "img" brackets.

I used the same trick to put the picture in this post, but for security I edited the picture by overwriting the address with "Put the path here"

Okay, working. Something to do with using jpegs and not bitmaps possibly.

Thanks for assistance in any event. It does seem that UBB code does not like posting bitmaps.

Before SHQ was changed so that they no longer stored graphics we were not allowed to upload BMP files. What is happening now may be linked to that.

Sounds about right.

The currently permitted file types for upload are: .gif,.jpg,.txt,.png,.pdf,.rtf
