Based on everything I've seen so far Reforger is essentially ArmA "lite". I'll pass.

It's not worth paying 44$ cdn imo.

A 1980's cold war gone hot sim would be great if it were actually set in Fulda etc.

BI have only committed to 12 months support. This does not get you a discount when ARMA 4 is released. Poorly optimized. I see no reason to buy this demo. At half the price, I would have considered it.

This seems too basic and cut down. It is essentially a bare bones tech demo in Early Access. They do plan on more content and features, but it still lacks too much. ArmA is bad for PvP and this seems to be more of the same. Without a real editor, even a cut down version, I can't see why I would bother it. The only thing you can do is use a real time editor which isn't good for testing scenarios or things. That defeats the purpose of a tech demo.

Have they made the controls better? I've found I struggle in ARMA and Post Scriptum, it's hard to describe but I find shooting from distances difficult as the mouse doesn't seem to scroll smoothly, this has been with different mice and PC set ups, it only seems to be in these games?

It's safe to say that this is Bohemia Interactive's attempt at making the ArmA series appealing to a wider (ie younger) audience.

I remember playing the original OFP on the first Xbox. It was not really gamepad friendly.
