Perused the little update information section and noticed something funny, very funny.

Large portions of the "indluded in this update" sections have been altered in the last few months. I mean, sections that i cut and copied from in april, are now altered or merely missing.

Large amounts of threads now have "deleted comment" as the sole content of said comment.

Large amounts of threads now have people removed from said conversations, all you see is snippets of what they said in someones qouted reply.

The thing they have in common are

1. are about the increase in fire power given to the 50 caliber machine gun for the new mustang variant

2. reduced power of german aircraft ammunition

3. reductions in air speed and roll rate and other handling charecteristics of german fighters, namely bf-109 family

hmm since you soo happily asked..

1. why the massive coverup once people start complaining about things being changed in the middle of the night to suite the moderators online flying ambitions?

2. Why so many paying customers who got fleeced, are getting accounts deleted on them when they ask questions that the moderators dont like?

2.a simply point out a discrepency, and the moderators will create a special RULE violation to cover said topic, and let them give you the boot.

Place is being run by soviet style management.

Criky, i just got a 30 day block because i told a guy who posted "i dont like either flying circus game, so what do i do" when i told him to just keep playing Rise of Flight like his profile says he does..

SOMEHOW thats "in violation of a rule that prevents people from insulting the moderators".

Its so bad on that website, that i actually try to find Wally the town clown because I saw Captain kangaroo crying in the corner once.

Many ardent enthusiasts of this newer version of IL2, who have invested a lot of cash on release of each aircraft or module have drifted back to the old IL2 '46 recently.
Especially since the talented community have modded it to such an excellent degree with the latest 'B.A.T.' package, that it can stand well against later sims.

For me it's simple: No VR, no interest.

russian devs, russian style moderation, I guess ?

When they started to move every unpleasant topic to "complaints" sub forum, it became the most active. Then the bootlickers came there to spread oil on fires.

It's now under heavy moderation, and almost inactive. Boot lickers won. Who cares if no one plays any more, as long as sales are steady ?

Is Jason still running the show over there, or did he leave?

Jason is still the owner and still calling the shots, althought he likes to claim that he has no control whatsoever over the development team and what they do..

However the soviet style moderating got worse with the russian invasion... they now classify any complaint about the game as being a "direct political attack against the company for russian connections"

when they did their last quarterly sale alot of members reported they couldnt buy anything due to banking system black out on russian transactions.

The only ones that seem allowed to participate in open forums are moderators, moderator owned sock puppet accounts, and anyone who has been on youtube advertising the game like Reqeium
