I'd love to see the bomber side of things really become a major feature. Love to see something like the B17 in the game creating not just a fighter sim but also a in depth bomber one too. I have never warmed to this compared to my love for WOFF but adding in depth bombers like the B17 would def make me very very interested indeed!

But for the present I'd be happy to be shot down somewhere over Dunkirk in the Boulton Paul "Seemed like a good idea at the time" Defiant. smile

If the european section in the game covers the normandy section, then we already have the gorunds for a D Day invasion upgrade in planes.

However id much more see a "coastal england" focus. Perhaps some secondary planes for the English. A boulton defiant would be fun, but a bulldog would be more enjoyable.

B-17?... nah, better off with the Battle to start with, then the Hampden, followed by the Whitley.

Well I wouldn't mind the Fairey Swordfish. What I'd love to see but is flyable versions of the existing German AI kites.

Yeah that too would be nice. Even if it was only a simple cockpit.

But a larger english plane like the Walrus would be run to shoot up.

I'm guessing the graphics & sky will upgrade to WOFF standard.
But I think some static stuff could be added, eg the East End Docks [where city airport is now] has no dockyard or shipping.
And how about adding some Victorian Piers. Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings, Deal and Southend, to name just a few.
And there was [still are] 2 separate clusters of massive gun-gantry's like oil rigs in the Thames estuary.
Have the option to take off the mirror, unless they get it to work of course.
Some things in cockpit : Radiator lever moving, Brake lever moving, Brake Gauge, switches up or down.
And assign a analogue button for the Brake [B].
Also if your playing RAF, then almost all flights [I think] would be 'scrambles'. But they seem few & far between.
They used to all hang around dispersal sitting on deck chairs waiting for the bell to ring. {more scrambles old chap, if you would, what would Winston say]
AND.
AND.
When are we going to get some NEWS ??????
Two months and not a dicky bird.
Or rename it to 'olds'.

Didn't Pol say yesterday that he hopes to have a news update for WOTR in about a week or so? He did say they had fallen a little behind, however, which isn't surprising now that they are down to mainly only a two-man team.
