I got the urge to fire up LB2 again on my very modern laptop which has an i7-9750k and a 2060 mobile.

Through a fair bit of effort of installing from Flyboys package, installing his GUI-Sound SDB fix and the other SDB fix GlobalMemoryStatusLie, and trying various Glide wrappers, the game is running pretty well, and I was able to remove the “Run as Win XP SP2 compatibility I had been forced to use.

Finally settled on nGlide 1.05 as the most stable. The last issue I am having is that fairly often I get 5-10 minutes into a flight, action is just heating up, and suddenly none of my keys are recognized, either the mapped keys from my joystick, or my keyboard.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour? I am wondering if this type of issue is more likely operating system related rather than Glide Wrapper. For example maybe CPU speed or core affinity.

Interestingly, the more I play the game, the less often it seems to happen... one of those old game mysteries I guess.

This does indeed seem to be a fairly new issue and one that others have experienced as well. If you see the newest comment by 'voodoo' in the Jane's Longbow 2 Windows 10 Redux topic, they appear to be having the same problem as noted in the last paragraph.
