This gives me better vibes then the Fanatec offerings at a similar price point.

I just ordered VRS pedals. Simagic alpha mini is my next most likely upgrade.

The Fanatec stuff is great and those pedals look really nice. I also like the look of the Simagic stuff, just don't have that kind of coin to spend.

I don't have a full rig to mount pedals to, and I wanted to stick in the TM eco system so I can plug it all in together... So I stuck with the T-LCMs.

Those should work you well, although some report Issues with them, It´s a bit hit and miss I am afraid. Fanatec are not extent of Issue too. I still need pedals for my new setup so I am still shopping for them. By the way, some pedals work on USB and you don´t need to be In the same ecosystem In order to use them. TM even has a adapter that can work with some Logitech pedals.

That's a great choice and those should serve you well. I've been using the much lesser t3pa pedals for years and the t-lcm with load cell should be a great set for you.

Read the video comments too...
From other readings, some complain that they have some play side to side, I would assume that´s from the plastic bushings and pedal support which Is also plastic In side the casing.

The Fanatec CSL´s are In direct competition with the TM LCM´s In there price brackets.

Finally got my VRS pedals mounted and setup in software, finishing it up this evening. Had enough time to run a couple laps and it's going to take some time getting used to the new brake that is stiff and relies on pressure rather than pedal travel. Very slick set of hardware and the most/first high-end sim stuff I've bought to date.

Congrats! thumbsup

Was there a specific reason you went with the VRS pedals instead of any other of the highend stuff like Heusinkveld for example? Just interested.

Thanks! From various reviews and discussions I found over a few weeks, it seemed the VRS pedals were the very best high end option. Most only went with Heusinkveld/other due to VRS taking months to ship. When I checked their stock issues were basically caught up, as I was in the queue for a little over a day.

These are supposedly much better than the sprints and more comparable to the ultimates at a few hundred bucks less, and the vrs are more adjustable and seem a bit beefier than the ultimates as well.

Finally, I'm planning to go with a VRS wheel base so that helped seal the deal, though I don't think it matters much outside of simplifying software setup as they'll both use the same config app. All points combined, seemed like a no-brainer.

These pedals are a very impressive piece of kit. Not surprising since it's my first high-end purchase for sims. After setting up the config from VRS, and going through the adjustment video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUzUO3CbyGQ

I didn't realize I needed to tweak things inside raceroom as well. On those old pots in the t3pas, you just need to calibrate via windows and the out-of-box settings work well in most sims. With the new load cell, the sim was producing over 40% brake by just touching the pedal. Playing with control settings in RR, mainly brake sensitivity and low end dead zone, I've gotten it dialed. Only had time for a dozen or so laps but I can really feel a huge difference in controlling the brake and inspiring more confidence. This feels worlds better than my first run after install without full setup. I can see this coming along in hours/days. I was less than a half-second from my record time on Suzuka with front tire wear down in the 80s in that dozen or so laps.

I also followed this ricmotech pdf for proper rig setup:
https://www.ricmotech.com/assets/images/driver-position/Driver-Position.pdf

which raised my wheel and brought it closer to the driver position about 3 inches. This feels weird as I'm used to running it in the lower spot, but I can tell I'll have better control, esp when I go to a DD wheel. (Planned for later this month.)

Finally, I ordered corrective lenses from VR Lens Lab. This brought new clarity to the G2 that is actually much more than I was expecting as I have decent vision without lenses and contacts only improved things marginally. Really glad I got these as I'm seeing much more clearly.

VRS pedals get a maniac 3 thumbs up.

Wonderful piece of hardware! thumbsup

And good choice with the corrective lenses for your G2 set. Did the same with my Oculus Rift when I was racing with VR back then.

Thanks for the comments, guys. They're mounted on my gttrack from NLR. I am hoping to move up to a nice extruded rig later this summer to mount an SFX-150 style motion actuator setup, the RS MEGA+. I'm pretty sure the steel NLR rig is not up to that task. Need a new wheel first though.

New wheel from Simagic at a very good price. I am very happy with my Simagic gear, top quality IMHO and this seems no different.
