Hello,
Yesterday I (of course!) applied the exciting new WOFF v1.21 patch. Looking forward to flying missions in effective support of ground forces..
Went through usual update routine of first disabling prior mods, then subsequently re-enabling them. All worked well until I tried to run the Buckeye Bob WOFF Multimod (v1.9). This will not now run at all. I have tried updating my Java installation, but still the Multimod will not run.
So, questions: is this mod still valid, and if so, what do I need to do to make it go please?
Cheers Stay Well
Mike

MIke it's best to NOT reinstall MODS after an update, especially a major update like this. Check with MOD creators first before re-enabling. We say this on the BH&H II downloads page under the "PATCH INSTALLATION HELP" instructions section 2.

Yeah, Mike, I'm afraid I can't take credit for the Multimod. As Pol, pointed out, that is entirely JJJ's work. I am sure he will be around soon to help you out. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he will have to update it now that patch 1.21 is out.

Very brief confirmation that JJJ's MultiMod ver. 2.2 (latest ver. of the MultiMod, by the way) does not open with patch 1.21 of BH&H2. Works fine up to and including patch 1.20 of BH&H2. Also keep in mind gents' that JJJ's MultiMod is technically not a mod. in the sense of JSGME-friendly mods. and that can be loaded/offloaded via JSGME. The MultiMod is more of a separate "app," in Java code - which at this point is simply incompatible with patch 1.21 of BH&H2. This will of course require that JJJ look into the MultiMod and upgrade it for patch 1.21 compatibility with BH&H2. Hopefully he will see this thread eventually. NOTE: I have loaded the 64bit version of Java in my ver. 1809 (Win10 Pro) install - recommended is to load 64bit Java if possible, since it is compatible both with JJJ's Java programs (including his MissionEd and MultiMod) and a larger variety of other programs than is the older, 32bit ver. of Java. NOTE 2: Most other JSGME-loading mods are compatible with patch 1.21 of BH&H2 -- I'm running several dozens of them just fine on my rig. Avoid the old "Archie mod." however - that one is only compatible up to the WOFF UE era as far as I know. I don't think that that one was even updated for the WOFF PE addon, let alone for BH&H2. Cheers all, Von S

Hello JJJ, If I may also post, briefly, what I think are indispensable features of the MultiMod to keep around for BH&H2 patch 1.21 and later: - AI guns shooting range - Player's main gun range - Player's gun dispersion - Collision range - Ground fire MG range - AI Minimum altitude AGL - Engine start random delay - Rear guns accuracy mod - Wind turbulence/gustings mod (with vertical, horizontal, turbulence settings) - "No wings breaking explosions" mod (if this one is obsolete and has been included in BH&H2, it is no longer necessary of course; also, I have not mentioned the two AAA entries - for increased rate of fire and decreased dispersion - because there are several AAA modifications included in BH&H2 patch 1.21 and later - so it's best no longer to have those AAA mods included in the MultiMod) Cheers all, Von S
