That is way too neat and after watching some of the other videos, it seems more complicated than building a plastic version.
I think it will not catch on with the young demographic due to their limited attention span.

This is way more fun! smile

Nice!

I guess your not expecting anyone for dinner biggrin

Kids now days don´t do much of anything, they don´t know what there missing. The hobby Is still very alive though, I am just amazed with how much a model kit cost now day´s and even 15 years ago compared to when I used to build as a teen In the late 70´s.

I cannot imagine this appealing to hands on modelers.
I watched a bit of the developer working on a ship on steam and it seemed a real pain to do.

Maybe worth it if I was expecting anyone for dinner though. smile

biggrin biggrin biggrin

Seriously, according to the dev, It´s focused for new people to the hobby. If they then like it, then go for the real thing. For those already In the hobby, I see It more for testing camos and different paint colors. It could be nice for those that don´t have space to exhibit there models I guess, or don´t want to spend €50 on a model, but yeah It doesn't look to practical as building goes.

Personally I think modeling helps you In your younger years to develop building technics for a posible future trade, and to build up patience and a steady hand. smile

So I don´t see how this PC sim can help with that. Besides, modeling Is relaxing (well, when everything fits well at least). I don´t see myself relaxing with this sim.

Indeed. Was hard pressed to find a kit $20 or more 20+ years ago,
