So, now meatloaf I liked the guy. He had a narrow but intense period of fame followed by a consistent background fame, but he was a regular nontheless. Almost defined a genre. Responsible for one of the world's most iconic albums, of course. One of those "everyone has a copy" albums. https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-60080934

Another legend gone, who had to struggle long and hard to receive recognition for his immense talents......I hope he can 'see Paradise by the Dashboard Light' now.

We are seeing people who are associated with our lives passing on. And from The Time Machine - Yvette Mimieux. https://www.the-sun.com/entertainme...machine-obituary-death/?rec_article=true
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

RIP. I wasn’t a big fan of most of his stuff (the song Bat Out Of Hell is the only one I can say with 100% certainty that I like) but you won’t find someone who worked harder and put more blood, sweat, and tears into his music and performances.

i always thought he would die during a Concert belting out a hit, looking pale, drenched in sweat and of a Massive Coronary. 'Cos he always look like he was about to have a heart attack.
