I have to agree with Trooper here. I see no advantages with this game over ArmA 3.
And from the footage shown in the Youtube video, I don't see evidence of any superior engine to what is use in ArmA 3.

ArmA has the "saved by" syndrome due to the fact that If it was not for the community (mods), It would for one, would not still be played, and two, not enough exposure due to it not being played and left behind.
On the other hand, It also suffers from trying to pack (do) to many things In one game/sim as with DCS. Trying to sim combined arms ops Is just a very hard and demanding thing for any game at the level that there trying to get or put out. That goes for both ArmA and DCS. You can even fit Steel Beast Pro PE In this cat too.
It´s quite easier to do for the WWII era, see IL-2, or Iron Front and DCS (WWII). Simulating 3rd-5th gen warfare hardware Is a task at hand own It´s own, now try to combine that as well with different platforms. Now mind you, I am not saying It can´t be done (see Star Citizen), but the thing Is no one Is doing it right (that works) as of yet.
Aside from the above, some of us want to play something with a different feel/look and that doesn't bug out on you. ArmA engine looks and feels old now...
Just my opinion.

You are absolutely right Red that ArmA would have died out a long time ago had it not been for the mod community. The Arma3 install on my PC right now is about 140 GB due to all of the mods I'm using.

That´s another negative for ArmA, all the disk space you need for the mods. And it just gets bigger as they update them. I uninstalled ArmA a lot of times due to that fact...
I know games are getting bigger in GB but not everybody has 300 bucks to spend on SSD´s.
