In It´s essences Ragnorium Is a colony builder RTS of which a lot of comparisons have been made with Rimworld and Kenshi. While I see these comparisons quite true, I would add, at least with the Info at hand and In the short time I have been playing it that Ragnorium Is a bit easier to get Into and understand. The agency within the game seems more manageable then say Rimworld. I can not say If Ragnorium has the same amount of depth that either Kenshi, or Rimworld have but like I stated earlier I am not even early Into the game yet so there´s a lot to discover, I will also add that the developer Is constantly updating the game In it´s early access state so there´s things that will Improve and/or be added as the game develops, so to really give some proper Insight of how deep it is, or will be, I personally consider that It´s not really a proper thing to do right now.
The game has a built-in tutorial, and 6 planets (biomes) with different levels of difficulty's of survival and hostilities. After a certain amount of day´s you can receive another ship with more clones and/or cargo bays. There´s the usual build, harvest, food, research etc. mechanics with random events among other details I still have to discover. The fun factor of these types of games Is how far you get, and what you discover along the way, at least for me. Personally I really like the graphics (art work), and the game doesn't seem overwhelming at first, very manageable and does seem to open up as you play. At It´s sale price I foresee quite a lot of gameplay and replay value IMO. Overall, a very big welcome to my game library.
Some help to get a feel for the game and a good head start...
