Hope some of you can make it.
There is a block of room on a temporary hold at the Comfort Inn across from the Museum. Should any participants wish to make a reservation there, please let me know and I will provide more details.

I am planning on having two game systems there with WOFF, throttle, pedals, stick and track-IR for attendees to give WOFF a shot. I can always use some help getting the attendees going.
If anyone is planning on going, please let me know here.
Regards,
Stache.
p.s. I know I have been really quiet on these boards of late and I apologize, other things in life going on.

Jenks, my kiddos are all grown and married and off with kiddos of their own, and those kiddos are all in school at the moment, so none for me to bring on this one.
By the way Stache, I still have a fair amount of the WOFF business cards you sent me for the 2016 show, which I will bring along.
Also, for anyone interested, I still have about three dozen pins for the B.O.C., which I will bring along as well just in case any of the newbies wish to join our motley crew.
Wait, what's that?! You don't know about the B.O.C.? Gasp! Click HERE immediately!

Well folks, everything here just went sideways and I won't be able to make it to Dayton. Have fun everyone and hopefully I can make it to the next one. C'est la vie.

This is something I wish I could attend again, it was great the first time around (2018). I sure hope I can be there in 2 more years. I have the funeral of a friend to attend on Saturday.
Retirement 1 year in is still pretty stinking busy.... Mike, best to you and the others who attend and I hope it does wonders for WOFF! Thanks for your tremendous work pulling this all together!

This was a terrific event. It was great to see a couple of people I had "met" here. Mike was doing a yeoman's job to get people interested in WOFF and seemed to be succeeding too. I don't know how much of the rest of the show he saw (if any). Personally, it was great to see the planes, vendors, and we even managed to see a couple of the main museum galleries. I'll have to keep an eye out for the 2024 event.
Yes, had a great, but tiring, time at the Dayton show this year. We were pretty much non-stop, from 9am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday. I figure we had around 300 Adults and kids exposed to flying and WOFF, on the two systems I brought. I distributed and entire box of WOFF Business Cards - hopefully this will turn into a few sales. My daughter, Ashley, was of immense help and I could not have done this without her. She listened and watched what I did for the first few and then took off running with it. At many times running both systems while I was talking to attendees.
It is a great time to expose people who have not flown before to flying a simulator. Some flyers had the full combat experience, some just did take off and landing, some were in cockpit view, some did external views.
Hopefully this event will happen again in 2024, it would be really great to have one or two more systems there. I hope some forum member will consider this, might five me a chance to get out and enjoy a tiny bit of the air show.
This year we had our own 20x20 tent. Here are some pictures I managed to find time to take.
A big thank you to RAF28Jenks, mandrews and MajorMagee for showing up.
Best regards,
Stache.
