I cannot find any information for the personnel strength (officers and other ranks) for the AD Rgt - either Kub or Buk, in the 1980s.

I have some TOE for the vehicles (20 TELAR and 15 TLLD, and 147 other vehicles) for a 5 battery Rgt of Buk, but no indication for the personnel strength.

Any ideas for the number of personnel and the TOE for other Regimental/Brigade structures and equipment?

Cold war, Soviet, or related more recent equivalents. I have indications for the teeth of eg a MRR or TR, but support elements don't seem to be covered as well, for those, or for higher level artillery/maint & tech/AAD... even to get a general idea.

The specific question for a 1989 Buk Rgt came up, but even a more general/ different specific example would help.

This is what I have been told...

In peace time KUB regiment had about 360-380 pieces of personnel (officers -60 to 80; 160-180 soldiers and 120-130 сергеантс.

During wartime situation, they must have +100-120 mobilized personnel.

One Kub battery in peacetime must have about 35 personnel - 4 officers, 24 sergants and 10 soldiers (conscripts). In wartime, it extends to 50 people (including a cook... wink )

Technical battery and HQ battery had even more people

Thanks for that. If you stumble across any others on your travels can you add them here too? but that is enough to use for the current purpose.

If you have a specific questions, go for it... I have a contact with an ex-regiment commander of SA-6
