he also produced a colorized WW1 ground footage documentary called "They shall not Grow Old" https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7905466/?ref_=nm_flmg_prd_5(edit: Doh! just got time to watch the plane video, and I saw the discussion they had about the movie I noted!)

Hi all, Interesting, but obviously made before the sudden demise of 'Wingnut Wings'.

Hi Ted, Yes many of the WNW crew have set up 'Kotare' (a New Zealand bird - kingfisher). The news broke a few months ago. There first release will be a Spitfire Mk.1a in 1:32nd scale. Apparently the first all new mould of this aircraft in 30 years. Judging by the detail shown in their CAD illustrations, it looks as though they're aiming for the same level of research and detail as for WNW. Good news for WW2 modelers,
Mike

Good job you acquired your WNW models before they closed. I suspect those kits wwill sell at a premium, especially to collectors!
If you ever acquire a Kotare model I for one would love to read a comparison report from you on the quality and instructional content.
Best Regards

Hi Rob, I've no doubt 'Kotare' will produce a WNW quality of kit. As to whether I'll ever get one - doubtful as it's WW2 but you never know,
