Hello Everybody,

Just a quick heads-up to say that I recently interviewed ED’s Senior Producer Matt Wagner about all things DCS and it’s going into the next issue of PC Pilot Magazine, out in a week’s time. The piece focuses mainly on features within the simulation rather than content per se. We cover the following areas:

Vulkan and multi-core implementation progress
VR
Dynamic Campaign progress and features
Multiplayer
Clouds
Performance
And a so-far unannounced feature under development which I am personally hugely excited about.

The whole world being modeled and the pseudo-bubble was quite something. Logistics for everything? Badass.

I hope they can pull it off. BMS and EECH continue to remain awesome because of their dynamic campaigns.

Many thanks to Matt for talking to me ... I came away from the interview event more enthused about the product. Just as Falcon 4.0 originally delivered the basis of the most extraordinary feeling of being in a war, DCS World I believe will deliver that experience on steroids -- and so they should as we're now 20 years later. Hugely excited!
