Hi Gang,
Here's another whacky scale build just for Ajay - this time an eye watering 1/700! This is HMS Conqueror returning to Faslane in July 1982, after her involvement in the Falklands War. If you're old enough you'll remember her sinking of the Argentinian cruiser ARA General Belgrano. The submarine is a simple white metal casting, with a choice of sails depending on whether the modeller wants the masts up or down. The tugs are resin and photo-etched metals, and the crew figures are 3D printed. This is my first go at this scale, and I've a couple more to do.

UNDERSTEER - is when you hit the wall with the front wing.
OVERSTEER - is when you hit the wall with the back wing.
HORSEPOWER - is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE - is how far you can take the wall with you.

Cool Goon. cool

Some strange appendages on the bow end of that boat, to my untrained eye at least.

Cheers Nixer. There's two parts of the boat that I'm uncertain if they were on Conqueror at the time, so I left for visual interest. The other eight are crew members. smile2

1/700, resin and photo etch. Nope.

Great looking dio Goon, very busy and plenty to look at. What did you do the water out of mate? On a side note, it's your fault my YT is half full of Falklands vids for the last few months!

Thanks Ajay. The water is an AMMO MiG product. There are several colours, this one is 'Deep Water'. It's over a coat of Tamiya Sky Blue and given a wash of a drak blue oil paint before lots of sky blue and white dry brushing.
