I went to a TLC and a couple NXT events a few years ago. It's usually a good time and the crowd makes it more fun.

I've been to several events, many years ago, including floor seats at Wrestlemania which was pretty awesome. The best wrasslin' event I ever attended, however, was an ECW night at a local arena in the late 90s where everyone was nice and close to the stage and we happened to also be seated right next to where the wrestlers would walk out. It was awesome.

Thanks wormfood. Agreed, the fans make the difference. I couldn't even really watch it on TV until the they brought the fans back.

That sounds awesome Mr_Blastman. I think we got pretty good seats, lower or ground level third row.

Wrestling with no fans, that was downright awful and depressing. I canceled my subscription and haven't been back since.

Was it as bad as watching a televised chess match even with an audience?

How exciting watching someone beat the crap out of another person.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

KK would have absolutely loved living in Rome around 150 AD. biggrin

edit: And besides, this is WWE we are talking about. Nothing is real about it.

Kind of like hockey, eh?

Except less authentic and more theatrical.

Eh, so what? It's a live action stunt show and it's fun. Some of them are even very talented.
Besides, it's as real as anything else on TV. Arguably more so since it's live.

Good points and my post was in response to KraziKanuk who apparently insinuated that WWE matches are on the same level as kick boxing matches where participants actually DO get seriously hurt at times.
