Just checking out Battle of Britain 2 still worked ok after moving it from an HDD to an SSD, and yes it does, these pics being the proof, all taken from a couple of the included historical missions. Minded to get back into this one.

I'm not over Dover, over. Think it's now Essex somewhere. smile2

Was on a scramble with 17 Squadron during the big air fights on 9th September.

Managed to survive a tussle with a larger force of 109s, firing off a lot of rounds in the process. Narrowly escaped but got separated. Saw several groups of bombers and was temped to have a crack at one of them. Then AA fire attracted me to two stragglers, one a long way behind the other. Dorniers, they looked like.

You'll do nicely! Went after the hindmost Hun first.

Then went for the leading Dornier and set his starboard motor smoking. Came around for another pass...

...but ran out of ammo. Ah well, he still mightn't make it home and the other one definitely didn't.
