Is there anyone who wants to participate as a tester in the group?
We have developed a demo of 10 chapters to verify.

Okay the first real problem I having is that none of the F keys seem to work in the game sometimes and joystick assignments are scrambled. For ex. I have next weapon on a button that seems to also be my trigger but no button fires the weapon? Any thoughts? And this is only after applying the Mod, it worked before. I'll try to get some screenshots to show whats going on.

I'm not sure who I'm communicating with on FB but should we start a separate thread for discussing bugs?

Well after much consternation I finally got this to work AND consolidated on the same drive. I feel like I'm now bug free for the moment.

Dear Friends!

Here are a few shots from another really interesting mission from the last set of YAP3: "Earthquake", featuring the Fairchild C-119C Flying Boxcar in French colors.

This flight took place the 6th of May 1954, the day before the fall of Camp Isabelle during the siege of Dien Bien Phu, last act of the First Indochina War.

James McGovern, AKA"Earthquake McGoon", was the first American KIA. Here you can find more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_B._McGovern_Jr.

Here's another really challenging and very immersive YAP mission, this time with the amazing Chance-Vought F-8E Crusader from VFMA-212 "Lancers".

The title is "Dixie Station". It's May 9th 1965: take off from the CVA-34 Oriskany as a Marine pilot and go to hammer the VCs attacking an US Camp near Tan Chau Ferry, South Vietnam.

The FAC will mark the targets with its WP rockets, but be certain to avoid the yellow smoke, because it represents friendly forces.

On your way back you'll also have to take fuel from Zebra, an A-4C from the Navy with the Douglas Refueling Buddy.

Dear Friends!

Here's something really uncommon: a "feet wet" rescue mission with the Sikorsky SH-3 "Big Mother" launched from USS Mahan in the Tonkin Gulf.

Your task is to take off from the ship, head downtown at full speed and rescue the downed A-4 pilot floating on a rubber raft with the winch.

He will sign his position popping a red smoke canister, but watch out for the gunners awaiting for you on their sampans. Then go back to the Mahan and land.

Dear Friends,

here's a few pictures from another fully restored YAP mission. This time the title is "Song Be" and this is the secon mission of a three sorties set. So we're in the middle.

We are flying a Douglas A-1E "Super Spad" Skyraider of the 1st SOS from Da Nang and we have to help the Special Forces to get rid of some VC from the Bien Hoa US camp.

Moments before our arrival a first srike has been performed by two B-57B Canberra from 13th Bombing Squadron, directed by a O-1E Bird Dog FAC. He will keep on firing his WP rockets to mark the targets, but be certain not to hit the friendly forces!

We hope you will like these shots!

Dear Friend,

while our efficient testers are working on the first bunch of mission included in Demo 2, we are keeping on restoring other YAP missions in chronological order.

Here's a mission we decided to classify as a "Bonus" since it is dated before the "Tonkin Gulf Incident".

Still, it is really interesting and challenging: you are flying a North American T-28D Trojan from the VNAF 2nd Fighter Squadron based at Bien Hoa Airbase.

The flight begins at dusk and the is to help friendly forces to free the village of Ben Cat from enemy VCs. A C-47D flareship will illuminate the area a few moments before the arrival.

Dear Friends,

here's another great mission restored: "Lighter Fighters" with the Douglas A-4E Skyraidr in an astonishing brand new VA86 "Sidewinders" skin made for us by oure really talented friend Karel Rodriguez.

It's August 05 1965 and we launch from the USS Indipendence CVA64 to sink a couple of cargo ships near the port of Haiphong with Mk81 and Mk82 bombs. On our way back we also have to meet Zebra, a KA-6B tanker before land on the carrier.

It's a short, but really amazing mission, with lots of Triple A, new planes and a beautiful landscape.

We hope you like it! Thank you Karel Rodriguez for the beautiful skin!

Dear Friends,

here are some shots from a three part mission with the amazing Boeing-Vertol CH-47 Chinook from 178th AHSC "Boxcars".

You have to lift three different cargo from the Hue airbase and deliver them to the Fire Support Base O'Reilly, located in the A Shau Valley, in March 1969.

The first flight will carry a D-4 Caterpillar, the second a net full of crates and the third a M-101 Howitzer.

It's a lot of fun, but requires a lot of skill and ability.

We hope you enjoy the pictures!

Dear Friends,

here's something "new": we can call it an "experiment". We took the first of WOV/SF2V stock mission "Tonkin Gulf Incident", and fully remade it in YAP's style, with the gorgeous USS Ticonderoga CVA-14, the custom made P-4 PT Boats, the landing MeatBall and and all the other stuff.

We also made a new briefing fot the player with historical information, in order to make the mission is more immersive and realistic!

As you know, we are restoring all the original YAP missions, but also other "user made" historical missions will be really appreciate to enrich the project!

Tell us what you think, we hope you like the idea!

Dear Friends,

here are some shots from another helo mission we just restored: its "Stormy 02 B2" with the outsanding Sikorsky HH-3E Jolly Green Giant by MAurizio Olmi.

The mission tooks place in January 17th 1969, on route to a crash site were the player has to rescue the pilot of a downed F-105 which is hiding in the jungle, before the Vietcong capture him.

The pilot signals his position with a red smoke canister, but the area is very well defended by several AAA positions. Unfortunately for them there are two pairs of very aggressive A-1H Skyraider (ThirdWire SF2V stock models this time) which will help to clean up a bit.

The player can choose to perform the rescue in air, with the rescue winch, or to land near the pilot and get him aboard. Both are still quite hard though.

The ferry to the homebase is very long, so before starting the mission it is necessary to refuel on an C-130E which is already nearby when the flight begins. A very complete, immersive and realistic experience!

We hope you like the pics!

Dear Friends,

this time more pictures than words. Here is the McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II much awaited debut in our YAP Revam Works project.

The mission is "Switchbox" and tooks place October 8th 1965: an adrenalizing dogfigtht experience on an amazing machine.

Take off from the USS Coral Sea CVA-43 and do your job: kill MiGs!

We hope you like the pictures!

Dear Friends,

here's "YGBSM" and there is no better way to describe this mission than the true words of one of the very first Wild Weasel EWOs, Captain Jack Donovan:

"You want me to fly in the back of a little tiny fighter aircraft with a crazy fighter pilot who thinks he's invincible, home in on a SAM site in North Vietnam and shoot it before it shoots me? You gotta be #%&*$#' me!"

It's December 22nd 1969 and you are that crazy fighter pilot on your F-100F Super Sabre. Be a Weasel, destroy the target ad get the Hell out of there!"

We hope you like the pics!
