I also thought it was about random wild hare strikes, not while flying but as an extra obstacle when landing, with hares randomly running across the grass - now I'm thinking of that other mod. - was it by Oldhat? - there is a clip (or was) on YouTube, a while back - showing how some of the items at aerodromes, such as the mobile fuel pump, could be made to move slowly towards and around aircraft. Perhaps the "wild hare" would nicely fit into such a moveable items category too.
Also found this amusing snippet via Google, but I will not comment further:
Cheers all and watch those landings, Von S

~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile (https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~

I personally know of that problem OV! I wonder if it is a virus that could be avoided 🤔

Oh that I was back in the dear old PBI. With no more Triplanes on me tail, nor tracer tracing by. And no more flames and clickerty-clack and no more blooming sky, And only a couple of feet to fall whenever I want to die.
I thought it was all about RFC barbers going on strike until RFC regulation haircuts were enforced on slovenly pilots more worried about staying alive than appearance.

That picture above would be a wild hair strike. This one, would be a wild hare strike
I wear my hair in a bun when I fly so I can assure you I had nothing to do with it.....
Ha, I'm not falling for that old chestnut. I think you do know something about it Witchy! Spill it baby.
If I could use my hair as a weapon while flying, it would be great but, I would be more worried about it getting caught in my planes prop since I can sit on it. Tearing me out of the cockpit, and sending me to my death.
Sorry for the jokes, I am sure there was a serious technical question in the OP's post. But with the title and no details, I could only think of some humor.
That’s a great way to make the French twist braid.

Not to worry, WW. There was, but since the request was ignored was ignored and this entire thread has gone farther off the tracks than Tootle (one of my son's favorite bedtime stories when he was a tot), feel free. It's certainly not like you're the first or only one.

Well OK then!
So, we've dealt with wild hair...
and wild hare...
but have failed to mention Wild Herr...
Seems a glaring oversight to me, or perhaps a hairing/haring/herring oversight. Oh look, herring. Fresh fields, and streams!
