Hello and thanks in advance for your help to whoever sees this thread. Could you please shed some light as to what the radio commands do in Jane's F-18 as the manual only covers the ones necessary for commanding your flight and leaves the AWACS and other menus out?

That question covers a lot of ground. There are menu commands to work with a FAC, JSTAR, AAR tankers. There are commands for ATC or CATC. At the carrier you Request Landing and CATC will give you heading, altitude and time information for your turn to land. AWACs gives all sorts of information about enemy aircraft, headings to the boat, divert fields, tankers, etc. An AWACs plane needs to be in the mission you're flying for this to be active. Some of these should be intuitive based on the name on the radio menu but others are very obscure for sure. Menu's will not be available if the corresponding assets are not part of the mission. For example, if there is not a FAC setup as part of the mission, that menu will be greyed out. Did you have any specific radio commands you wanted to know about?

I believe the default comms menu for your wingman and flight is the TAB key and the default comms key for everything else (AWACS, tanker, tower, JSTAR, FAC) is shift tab.
