This has been posted to help newbies launch a "host-only" game smile

I am starting from a point that a script that has been loaded using the "2021ScriptLoader" program, as shown in other threads wink

UAW160 has been started, and from the start menu "Multiplayer" has been selected


The initial multiplayer screen- protocol selection:

Note that "NEW" is grey and inactive

Select TCP/IP by clicking on the red text:

This box will appear in a black window:

Do not enter anything just click "OK"

You will be back to protocols. Note that "NEW" is now white and active:

Click "NEW"

You are now in parameters with the last script settings loaded:

Change the air-force (if necessary) and select your plane:

Set your enemy primary plane:
[Linked Image]

Set your enemy secondary plane:
[Linked Image]

Set your friendly secondary plane:
[Linked Image]

Optional changes:

Time of day:

Battle size:
[Linked Image]

Cruise altitude (left click to increase, right click to decrease):

Starting point, month and day too:

Starting point re-set, AI altitudes set:

Loadout- I do not want rockets for an intercept:

Launch button clicked:

OK clicked- the game launches, and these are some screenies of the four plane types using F9:

There is a handful of other selections on the parameters screen that I did not change in this tutorial:

Pilot Experience
Difficulty
Enemy HUD
AI Aircraft
Respawn

"I am ready" is there for full multiplayer games.
Setting it to "No" allows a players to make their choices, and if any of the players have it set to "No" the host cannot launch the game.
