Karsten That's my favorite Star Trek show. Like most of them though, it still takes a season or two to get going.

The same goes for Babylon 5 in my opinion. The first season has some rough spots (cheesy acting, cheesy dialogue, etc) but by the second season I was hooked with the main storylines.

You can buy it to stream on Ama B5 would be on my watchlist too, unfortumately it isn`t available on netflix or sky. I think you can still buy the dvd sets from Amazon. Yes, or you can buy it to stream. It's also one of those shows that gets picked up by Amazon or Netflix for about 6 months or so, then disappears only to pop back up a year later. So, if you're patient, you may be able to stream it again in the future. I'd give it a recommend to just buy it. Just start with the 5 seasons and if you enjoyed that get some of the movies. But, whatever you do, do NOT ever buy or watch Legend of the Rangers.

do NOT ever buy or watch Legend of the Rangers. LOL! I saw the potential behind that pilot but there were numerous problems with the casting. The girl who was the weapons officer on the ship was laughably bad and let's not even mention that cheesy 3D holographic weapons system that worked by doing martial arts moves.

I saw a few movies the last couple of weeks:
1) "The Driller Killer" -- After enjoying "Ms. 45" so much, I had to see Abel Ferrara's first movie. This was a mistake. I expected a psycho with a drill, going around the gritty streets of New York City and taking out the trash. Instead, what I got was two thirds of a movie with annoying punk rock singing--I like punk rock, by the way, but this was the same stuff, over and over, and it grinded on me. It also irritated the main character, whom, to my surprise, never took action to eliminate this nuisance. Instead, he bumbled around. This was art house cinema, for sure, but what Abel didn't understand in his first film was the importance of plot, story, and the three act structure. I fell asleep before the final few scenes and never bothered to go back and watch again. There was no point after enduring the torture of the first two thirds of the movie. When he did do some drilling, it was good. There wasn't enough drilling. * 1/2 out of ****.
2) "American Psycho" -- I needed to watch a proper psychopathic movie the night after such a disappointment. I have seen "'Psycho" three times now, and every viewing feels a bit different. The way this film ends, one is left with questions as to what was real and what was not. Did any of this even happen? Maybe it did, but we'll never know, because we possibly stuck in the mind of Patrick Bateman? Are his friends even real? Is he real? This is a great film--no, a fantastic one. Any rating less than *** 3/4 is criminal, so that's what I'm scoring this. Brett Easton Ellis wrote a great novel, turned into a film, that was as much about yuppie culture as it derided their ilk, isms, and questioned reality itself.
3) "The Empty Man" -- Four act structure? That's what this film felt like it attempted, which made the entire picture feel extremely unusual. I realize prologues are a thing, but this one started off with a twenty minute prologue which is... far longer than one should be. Regardless, the movie held my attention throughout, so there is that. However, about halfway through I began to laugh at the mess it had become, trying to be artful and cute while forgetting, much like "Driller Killer" that actual story progression that makes sense, as well as character development... matters. The end ruined the movie. I know the writer/director was going for a 2001ish ending, but 2001 was based in reality and theoretical physics, not magical fantasy. I felt empty, much like the title, by the time the credits rolled, thus I give this only ** out of **** stars.
Edit: Also, the director forgot that "less is better." This film should not have been almost two and a half hours long, not with the crap ending they left us with.
4) "TimeBomb" -- Michael Biehn really shot himself in the foot when contested his portrayal in Alien 3, and somehow ended up in many B-list films. This was one. I enjoy B-Movies, though, for often I'll find a good script but lower caliber actors and a smaller budget. That's okay. This film was a decent take on the whole "assassin left the biz and had his memory wiped" angle, but alas, I fell asleep during the last twenty minutes. I should go back and watch again but I haven't, and because of this, I only award ** 1/2 out of **** stars. Not bad for what it was, and certainly had some enjoyable moments.

I've not seen any of those films but at least I heard of "American Psycho".
Concerning Michael Biehn, he largely has had a B movie career outside of his collaborations with James Cameron (Aliens, The Abyss, Terminator). Biehn is underrated in my opinion. Great turns in Abyss, Tombstone and I am one of the three people who enjoyed Navy Seals. Good role recently in Mandalorian. I've heard he's a very gracious guy. Saw Sweetheart last night. Poor title, but good film. Better to go in knowing little. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6560164/

Biehn is most definitely a very underrated actor and his guest role on the Mandalorian was very memorable.
