Hello.

Military Monday falls again on Memorial Day this Monday. I propose we move our session to Tuesday, to carry on the SimHQ tradition of respecting Memorial Day.

Today's session is officially moved to tomorrow (Tactical Tuesday)

I've made 3 new missions for tomorrow. 2 Vietnam missions and 1 Uzbin Valley mission.

Try to come a little earlier, so we can try to play all three.

On the server at 7:50, I think. It's all an estimate anyway. I never know how long these missions actually will take.

I'll try and be on around 7;50 but I'll definitely be there by 8 at the latest. Any idea if meatshield will come or did he disappear again? biggrin

Maybe they're loosening restrictions out of the lockdown there. if so, he'd be slammed if he's still working at the greenhouse/nursery.

Yeah that makes sense. I've tried to recruit like 3 or 4 people for Military Monday over the past year but they all fell through.

Currently I have no power (since last night) and they're estimating it won't come back until 1130PM Monday.

I dont know if I'll be around for MM. I'll try to leave word closer to the time.

Oh that really sucks. What was the reason for the outage given by your power company?

Yeah, that's a real shame. I was wondering if that storm would affect you, we got a lot of rain, but not enough for flooding, etc. I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if they get power restored ahead of schedule.

My power's back and hopefully will remain so, so I can get some MM in.

Huge storm passed through Metro Detroit with 165k without power. In my area there was tornado-ic like activity, even if it wasn't classified as such. About a mile away, beachers at a baseball field were thrown and mangled. Huge trees tipped over and broke. And the main power lines that I'm connected to were down and the power company was replacing poles and putting the lines back together yesterday and yesterday evening.

Yes, glad to hear your ok and you've got power back, that was quite the storm. I heard, that night, that there were reports a tornado had touched down. I guess that was in your area. All the TV channels cut over to covering the storm about 9:00 pm that night. It looked pretty bad.

That area was a bit north of me. There are catastrophic power outages up there. I am in a relatively undamaged area, except for the freak, isolated winds near me

Just a heads up that Global Mobilization got updated today. The download is around 23GB, so you might want to make sure it's downloaded before next Monday's session, regardless if Meat gets the server updated.
