The flexibility of 160 allowed us to have an enjoyable session just now flying in Moggy's IRAQ theatre, with a Pacific plane-set:
The mission was a ground started train interdiction and this was my de-briefing screen:
My squad took bombs, CaptJ's squad acted as escorts.
I instructed my squad to attack ground targets, which they did, successfully destroying the train convoy.
We then went after the Japanese, on the way I shot up a fuel dump, and used up my bombs on a hangar and a warehouse.
Many of the enemy planes had been dealt with, but I was able to take out two zeroes.
Note the time-line- even though it was ground-started it only took about five minutes before there was action, and that is how we try to set things up at GameRanger
If you have a 160 installation but have never flown online, do not hesitate to install GameRanger to learn how to use it. If you need help let us know.
Then you will be able to join us for some online fun.
We never fly "free for all" and with beginners we invariably fly co-op missions against AI planes, so nobody is going to shoot you up. Online flying really adds another dimension to EAW, allowing pilots to work together
