A few decades ago a section of the Ohio River caught fire. Technically the garbage floating on it, but still. Then it was Lake Erie. Now it's the Gulf of Mexico. My question is what will be next? The Atlantic? The Pacific? Or will it be a smaller ocean or sea, like the Mediterranean or Indian?
The hilarity of pouring water on that fire is stupifying
I thought the same thing when I saw the video on the news. At least they're just pumping sea water, not wasting fresh water. But the energy is completely wasted.
