'Packing cases' was I believe a German WW1 pilot's equivalent of the RAf terms 'crate', 'kite' or 'grid' for the typical WW1 aircraft. 'Prehistoric' tends to be used by von Richtofen in his ghost-written autobiography (Der rote Kampfflieger) when referring to 'pusher' biplanes.

Here's some pics of packing cases from the under-rated First Eagles 2, which - if you can grab all the mods - has by far the biggest planeset of any WW1 combat flight sim and arguarbly the best air combat experience of any of them - not at all bad for a sim derived from a Cold War Jet simulation.

Very nice 33lima. How many SSDs do you have to house all of these sims Sir? LOL it seems you have every sim at your disposal. I am thinking of installing ROF again, but I wouldn't want to try First Eagles 2 because I am simply fed up with keeping up with mods and the procedures to make them work. I did that with the CFS3 stuff and enjoyed the results but then my WOFF & WOTR stopped working, so once I sorted that situation to get WOFF & WOTR working again I was done with CFS3 modding. I guess I am getting old but i just want to install the sim and use it and not have to do all sorts of mods to get good results. Sorry, rant over, LOL.

Like I was saying, Really nice pics!
