...trains. Trainz 2009 to be precise, which is as far as I've got with the Auran sim and still play, as I've lots of content for it.

Nice pics 33lima. I loved HO railroading from about 9 to 13 years old, and my setup covered our ping pong table during those years. I bought the book, HO Railroad That Grows if I remember correctly and built my rail road from that blueprint plan included in the book. I had a mountain with 2 tunnels that I constructed from hydrocal and plaster, a sawmill, a freight station and a spur that emerged from one of the tunnels that was to be occupied by a mining building which I never finished assembling. I still have the freight building in my basement and the half finished mine building in a box in the closet. There is definitely a love of trains still in my heart. Maybe someday I will revert back to HO modeling. Thanks for the spark to start a little trip down memory lane. yep

That is a great story Blade! Thank-you for sharing that! I also have a very deep affection for trains. We'll get into that later but, thanks 33lima! Those pics are awesome! You always beat me to the punch!

Ah, so there a few of us 'anoraks' (as they call railway fans in the UK, after their reputed attire standing on damp platforms) lurking here!

How about some more screenies then, this time from Microsoft Train Simulator routes but in Open Rails.

(and the real location, which I snapped in November 2017, some yeas after the route is set)
