As one of the sets of Ace skins in WOTR, I came across this excellent read of Robert Stanford-Tuck's amazing journey through the second world war.
Makes you want to go dive into a WOTR flight smile

Definitely recommend Larry Forrester's Tuck biography, 'Fly for your Life' which recounts with surprising frankness several other darker incidents from Tuck's career, like when he was on the point of shooting two sergeant pilots from 257 who displayed 'one-oh-nine-itis' and broke away before combat.

I really quite despise when you 'highly' or 'definitely' recommend books because that means I usually end up buying them to supply my ongoing reading selection. biggrin Just joking, LOL. I procured a used hardback copy of 'Fly for your Life' in very good shape from jolly old England and it just arrived on Thursday. It is several books down on my next book to read list. I am in the middle of reading The Nieuport 28, America's First Fighter by Theodore Hamady and it is a real gem. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are interested in the Nieuport 28C.1
That is an interesting link from Historynet Pol. Thanks for sharing it.

Got that Nieuport 28 book awhile back, certainly worth having... I also have 'The Hat in the Ring Gang' by Schiffer, full of the combat history of the 94th Aero Sqn, another gem!
