Hello, I just purchased Wings over Flanders Fields Between Heaven and hell 2 and when trying to start a mission after creating a pilot dossier I receive the following error message:

"`Error copying Global layer - Make sure the Mission Builder is not running." The game then takes me to the main menu. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are some details:

I uninstalled older versions of WOFF UE and created a new folder under E:\Games\Woff2 to install BH&H2. I have downloaded and installed latest game version, directly installed Directx9 from toolbox, updated game with patch version 1.12.
I have also instructed Norton to exclude the folder E:\Games\Woff2.
Upon completing install I launch game under administrator rights. I go to main menu, and from there create a pilot dossier and then attempt to launch into either a quick mission or campaign.
Upon launching either of the previous two mission types i receive a pop-up window as seen in the attached picture. I close the pop-up and another same message shows up, which I close.
The game then takes me to the main menu without launching.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times, and have not re-mapped keys or changed any of the settings.
I have a CH proflight stick and CH rudder pedals attached.

You say you installed the game to "E:\Games\Woff2".
Can you explain why you didn't use the default directory folder name of "Woff" instead of woff2?

Can you give us a screen capture of your directory structure from windows explorer?

I found the fix, it was an issue with Norton Life Lock, I simply had to exclude that programs actions and now it works. FYI in case someone else has this issue.

Well normally it would be woff not woff2 and this may not be a problem.
The only other thing I can think of is that the global_Layer file might be corrupted from a bad download or that your original earlier woff installs were not removed as of the procedures defined in the woff site.
