Looks good! Nice clean interface too, like the same dev's AtlanticFleet which I love. No real interest in modern naval combat tho, submarine or otherwise, or I'd definitely have picked up this one.
I don't care if you wouldn't really be able to see your sub clearly underwater, views like those are a must-have for me.
I still would like to get this and Uboot. How does it play Vince? Is the learning curve fairly approachable? I love all the nautical sim themes, age of sail, WW2, Cold War. This one look fun.
Cold Waters is looking like a worthy successor to Microprose's 1988 Classic: Red Storm Rising. If you did not have a chance to experience this, then I understand why modern naval combat may not be your thing.
Coot, this simulation lacks the complexity of titles like Janes 688i, and Sub Command but, makes up for it in ease of play and immersion. I've completed the first four training missions and feel very comfortable with the boat.
Awesome pictures. I loved Jane's 688i though never excelled at it. Does this game have some sort of campaign with story or is it a series of single player missions?
