I tried shooting at a bunch of cows on a farm near my airfield but nothing happens...no matter how many times I hit them, they just keep standing there staring at me blankly.
I mean, it's great that there are 80 flyable airplane models and 500 air units and deep immersion and whatnot, but what I look for in a good air combat sim is the ability to shoot livestock from the sky. It's an unrealized childhood dream of mine.
"A great deal of an aeroplane could be holed without affecting its ability to fly. Wings and fuselage could be—and often were—pierced in 50 places, missing the occupants by inches (blissfully unaware of how close it had come until they returned to base). Then the sailmaker would carefully cover each hole with a square inch of Irish linen frayed at the edges and with a brushful of dope make our aircraft 'serviceable' again within an hour."

Please don't shot my dear cows!! No enemy-contact, no kill, but bullet-waste with cows-shooting.
@Pol, because of this pilot-behaviour we need the new feature of disciplinary proceedings, penalty transfer and court martial! I will add this point in the wish-list now. That's important! It's time for more strictness and consequence in our squadron here! ... ...

This sounds like the same type of sociopathic behavior that would inspire a certain moisture farmer on Tatooine to bullseye Beggars Canyon Wamp Rats in his T-16.
