I swear I heard the perp say "I'm CIA!"
He might as well be, compared to this Keystone Cop Op displayed here.
I am sorry, but it is funny...and sad. Cocoa, Florida is over FIFTY miles south of my approximation of where the first Cocoa car was off I-95. So you have the Cocoa PD, no doubt the Brevard County Sheriff's office and the Florida Highway Patrol in hot pursuit of police car, probably with weapons onboard, for about 25 ish miles to the Volusia county border. So, God knows why, he's now northbound on I-95 in Volusia county, so you can add the Volusia county sheriffs to the mix. I wonder who was in charge??
No doubt by the end you could add the Port Orange PD to the mix...with the FDLE on the way. That's Cocoa, FL, Brevard sheriffs (didn't see any, may have been smart and "disengaged"). Volusia sheriffs, highway patrol and no doubt Port Orange PD at the end....again I wonder who was in charge?
A couple of smart cops could have easily stopped this loser south of the Volusia county line, If not, there are great spots with big fat wooded medians with hidden access (speed traps) in south Volusia on I-95. I grew up in this area, and have driven this route many times. I have lived in both counties.
As for the second stolen Cocoa PD vehicle, some fifty miles from Cocoa, that belonged to a Swat team guy, with who knows what for weapons inside...Don't they have key FOBS for these always on on police cars????
Keystone cops imo. I know, easy to second guess. Too many different units.
