Well with Frontiers Odyssey release Wednesday and knowing how things break I suggest backing up.
It can be found; C:\Users\%YOURYSERNAME%\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

My computer is completely paralyzed downloading this update. I think something is misconfigured, because Elite is on SSD#2 and my primary platter drive is maxed out, when nothing should be written there regarding the download.

Happens to me every time I update. So I don't update during the day when I'm online, I wait until I'm going to bed and update then. And I don't have an SSD, so it takes quite a while!
