Special zoom map
When you extract the items from the downloaded zip-file you get a folder named "Zoom"
In it is the special "Targmap.pic" file. If you put it in your EAW folder it will work with any theatre, and any "new map" eaw.exe from EAW1.29 to UAW160.
I have also included VBH's map larger map sprites, and they can be used in any version of EAW.
To see it in the game just press your map key
There is no map on the screen- that's why it can be used with any theatre.
I took the original screenshot immediately after selecting the nearest approaching bomber in cockpit view, and the distance read 23055 feet, which I added to the picture.



It gives you a good idea of the degree of separation when enemy planes are visible.

The previous theatre maps tend to be smaller and the zoom effect is not as pronounced.

This was a 1920x1080 pic and there is clear separation when viewed in full size

This will not work with GOG/OAW version ?

The GOG/OAW is version !,2/1.28.
The Pilot map zoom is for 1,29 or higher
