Another chance to pour buckets of money towards a problem that has no solution.
One might as well try to control the weather. Oops, we already try to do that. :-(

BINGO. You don't need a Ph.D in physics to know that any asteroid larger than about 100 meters in diameter would cause a very serious amount of deaths if it hits close to any populated area. If the asteroid is over 1 kilometer in diameter then we're talking millions of deaths.

NASA should try and control waste in it's budget.

I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

That's easy. Just hire Elon Musk to control costs. Give him 30% of what he reduces and he'll still be able to double his net worth.

Actually the exercies was done with a asteroid about 100mt. in diameter and took out almost half of europe!

As shown on the video, and in other media, a excercies was done with world wide pandenic experts 3 months before (Oct. 2019) the outburst, and well we all know the outcome don´t we.

I don't know that hypothetical asteroids are bad luck. In fact, I don't think they're much of anything at all.
