Haven't had chance to try out the new stuff yet but it looks interesting.

Iam waiting for it to go on sale. Was in the beta team but they didn´t give you the game, darn cheapskates.

I think it's a no-brainer at that price Red. I might see if the DLC is reduced too, I'm just missing the US and Soviet weapons packs.

They are on sale too Chucky.

I was about to pick up the bundle, but will give it a spin first. If you buy the two DLC´s included in the bundle separate, they sum the same price as the bundle so If needed I can always pick them up will the sales last.

I take that back Chucky, the Soviet weapons pack is not on sale (It´s the only one that´s not on sale). I grabbed the US pack, and the Alpine Unrest and FNIX Rising DLC´s. Not buying the DLC bundle will set one off a couple of euros/dollers more if you buy them separate.

Personally I think the Apex game engine (Avalanche Studios) makes this game look awesome! Best explosions in any game I have seen so far. Same engine as The Hunter: Call of the Wild, and Second Extincion to name a few.

Ugh. I just deleted this game out of pure frustration.

It's the 'defend the ringfort' mission. You have to eliminate multiple waves whilst you defend the fort. I used up all my ammo plus all the stockpiles and I failed. I was enjoying the game up to that point. I've archived my saved data just in case I go back but that was painful.

That was the first time playing that I had to confront large scale enemy forces. Before that I played stealth as much as possible which suited me better.

Anyway O/T,I just noticed that the Rift S is only £299 so now I'm contemplating whether that would be something I could get into for some of my other games (E:D,IL-2,DCS). I'd rather drop that money on a video card but I can't see that happening right now. Trouble is, my GTX 970 is the bare rec min spec. Decisions,decisions...

There was a dev letter just recently so there still updateting GZ. They did raise the level of AI, it is more dificult now in adventure mode. Great game IMHO, but yeah I can understand that wave attacks are a pain in the A, It´s not my fav mode TBH.

I would go for a new card Chucky, I can´t play Escape From Tarkov in my old pc (GTX 1060-6GB) and had to move it to my sig below pc because games are becoming more demanding as we move on.

After watching that video I think I can see the problem. I'm still running around with stock weapons and ammo.

*edit* That's how I tend to play. It's the same in E:D, I don't 'engineer'. The game gives you all the tools to advance it's just that I don't utilise them. The robots got harder,I remain 'noob'.

Iam still on the first Island but I´ll be crossing the bridge very soon as all is almost done, but I do realise that if you want to advance in this game, you do need to farm for those EXP weapons, or at least 5 star weapons. Gas canisters are also usefull, mines etc. this game has alot of tricks up it´s sleeve, and alot of strategies to it too.
