What do you mean, is it a hill? There are lots of hills around there. What date, nation? How far north? It looks OK here on a quick check but not sure I am where you were.

A pic would really help or logs if you still have them from that mission send to support email please.
Use Printscrn and ten go paste into MS paint and save as jpeg?

i have just visited it again and pressing z on my keyboard gave me this N48*40*49 E06*11&10 and it was directly in front of me a light color field. I will try and do as you say and get a pic to you.

Ok thanks. Does it stick up unnaturally? Any mods installed? What terrain settings in workshop?

Yes it doe's look a little odd it is a hill but not like the high standard of the rest of the terrain.

No mods, all settings maxed out Terrain/Scenery Density/ both on 5 / Terrain bump 1 .

I have no problem running sim with around 50 FPS

Do you recommend I turn down so settings if so which ones.

thanks for reply.

EDIT OK I have found out more the airfield you need to use is in Verdun Malzeville this airfield is on top of this hill that for me looks very odd try taking off from there and you will see what I meen.
I have tried lowering my settings with no change infact I got a black square in one of the fields on the side of the hill.

The 3 settings I changed were TERRAIN FROM 5 TO 4 - SCENERY DENSITY FROM 5 TO 4 - TERRAIN BUMP 1 TO 0 I have changed them all back to 5/51

OK yeah I see it. I think it's just the way the terrain is there not enough mesh resolution to draw it perfectly. Not much we can do about that. Think if it as a man made fort smile
You could try xjouve's Topology mod https://SimHQ.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4512889/new-theaters-development#Post4512889
You would probably need the rivers mods too, but best to check with the mod section on that.
"v2.01" of the terrain, and the rivers 1.10 mod are not bad together. Still some issues but you may prefer it.

Thank you for the quick reply I can live with it , thanks for a great sim I have been around flight sims for many many years in my 77 years on this earth and this latest offering has to be the best WW1 ever, I did have a problem finding the cash but my darling wife stepped in and I had a early birthday present.

Thank you again. I will not bother you with any more question I will just put up a posting on the forum.
