A slit trench at RAF Gravesend
Those of you who have been around this forum for a long time may remember DOM (Dominique Legrand), one of the giants on whose shoulders all subsequent EAW modders stand, and maker of that great early add-on Attack in the West..

I've been using his old elevation editor a bit over the last few days, so I thought I'd send him an email to thank him for all his work.

I last heard from him in 2006, so I'd no idea if the email adress I had for him still worked. But it did, and he replied. He is fine, and was glad to be remembered to all here.

A true legend in the development of EAW! Glad to hear all is well with him. We all owe a great debt to him, and others of that first generation of modders.

Always good to hear about the old stalwarts.

Tell him to stop by.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.
