My old TV (2008, 52”, early flat-screen technology. It offset my heating costs wink ) just croaked. So I got a brand-new current technology 55”.

Any guesses on the first movie I watched on the new screen?

Cheers
Stay Well

Mike

Give VonS a coconut! and Hoongadoonga a half-coconut..

What else? A good old-fashioned war movie with real aeroplanes (we’ll slide past the “unique” interpretation of lozenge camouflage, and DVIIs with Maltese crosses (yes I know there were a couple, but)). I remember looking forward to its release, the British boys’ paper “Eagle” had a two-page spread on it in 1965.

I’m delighted with the sharpness of the image, especially in the flying scenes. Real aeroplanes still beat movie CGI hands down.

As for the rest of you. Your own answers give you away 🙂🙂

Cheers
Stay Well
