What else? A good old-fashioned war movie with real aeroplanes (we’ll slide past the “unique” interpretation of lozenge camouflage, and DVIIs with Maltese crosses (yes I know there were a couple, but)). I remember looking forward to its release, the British boys’ paper “Eagle” had a two-page spread on it in 1965.
I’m delighted with the sharpness of the image, especially in the flying scenes. Real aeroplanes still beat movie CGI hands down.
