Here is a patch to install Great Shot II in the GoG-OAW folder

https://www.mediafire.com/file/qmpx4y4oqcmbreh/GreatShot.exe/file

Run the downloaded "GreatShot.exe" in your GoG-OAW folder and it will add the "W-GS2" folder to the "OAW128" folder, and the "Great Shot II.set" file to the "OAW128/Autoscripts" folder for selection on the OAW "Complete Sets" page wink

When I built the patch I forgot to include the music folders which give you a choice of EAW music.
Here they are: https://www.mediafire.com/file/bjklgjnoey7ewrk/MusicPatch.exe/file

Run the "MusicPatch.exe" in your GoG-EAW folder.

-ARDENNES December 1944
-BATTLE of BRITAIN (original) June - September 1940
-DESERT AIR WAR 1942
-WAR IN EUROPE 1943 - 1945
-NORMANDY 1944
-MALTA 1941 - 1942 5/Sept/03 - To include the Beaufighter aircraft.

Unless I am mistaken those additional theatres are BlackAdder's re-assembly of other peoples' work, such as Desert Air War, Malta and Moggy's Midway.
Most of these are already included, and I am using the "Mod Squad BoB" as the "BoB" version, rather than the alternatives.
However, if there are others that you would like to have then let me know and I will set them up wink

BTW if you check the first post in the thread you will see that the original download has been replaced because of problems with interdiction missions.
The replacement has additional theatres, and the music folders smile

Edit:
I have just added Blackadder's version of the Ardennes theatre:
BlackAdder's Ardennes

Run the downloaded "Ardennes.exe" file in your GoG-OAW folder wink

Just wanted to add that the OAW selector is a fantastic piece of work, its so easy to navigate and install.
Everything loads quickly and so far no issues whatsoever ..it really is a fast simple way to fly different craft in different theatres. Great stuff mate, cheers

Just bought the GOG version today ($9.99). I think I'll install it on Win 7 comp first, and try it out. If it works OK, will install it on recently upgraded Win 10 computer to see how it works. If still OK, will try out some of the patches being offered. Many thanks to those making/offering the patches!

Many new users found that they had joystick problems. I had them too.
If that happens to you then delete "dinput.dll" from the EAW directory (or change its name).
It is there for users with gamepads and no joystick.

RIBob, how did you make out with Win10 and EAWv1.2-GoG?

I found two issues.

Hello I was able to Get Windows 10 with GoG version to work with Joystick too, the only problem I experienced is many of the VIEWS that are typically used with the F keys do not work and I can not see the VIEW represented by the F Key. Odd thing is the F Keys are recognized when I remap keys in EAW. I tried issuing the View to a different key then the F Keys and still the VIEW does show when pressing the KEY while flying. It must be something to do with the VIEW not wanting to work and not my USB keyboard. Anyone else with Windows 10 having trouble getting the VIEW Modes to show up? If so is there a fix?

I was hoping to be able to move on form EAW with some of the other newer WW2 flight simulators, unfortunately the air combat flying fighting in Wings over the Reich did not give me any enjoyment or satisfaction like the air combat in EAW. My only hope is Cliffs Of Dover and IL-2 series = so far so good (still trying to get familiar with all the keyboard commands and the padlock system.) but I have a lot of practice to do before I get to try the missions and the campaigns. The Campaigns and Dogfighting is what I loved in EAW. I had a version of 1.1 that I seemed to like the dogfighting the best with the A.I. flying the most aggressive with splatting me in the cockpit every once in awhile.

Thanks for any info!

I don't recall every assign the so called 'F' Key Views to a Joystick button. I remember most of the snapviews where assigned to my hat.

Thanks for the reply, sorry for confusing, I meant to say my Joystick works fine, the default views assigned to my F keys do not work, even if I assign those views to other keys besides the F keys.

Thank You for any info and hopefully a fix.

Hmm, maybe your using a gaming keyboard or extra keypad device??

Try narrow it down to which device is causing issues.

Also,

Where do you have the game "installed" too and which version are you using?

I could be wrong but someone at the GoG EAW forum posted the same problem at about the same time, so I think it was the same person. At GoG I suggested that he check his eaw.ini, and his reply at GoG reports that the problem is solved.

wink Jel

I was mixing the "F" key problem with this one, which was solved:

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

In any case Lonny should check his "eaw.ini" file:

[Remappable Keys]
FLIGHT CONTROL=Joystick
CAMERA CONTROL=Mouse
RUDDER CONTROL=Rudder
THROTTLE CONTROL=Throttle
FRONT VIEW=F1
RIGHT FRONT VIEW=F2
RIGHT VIEW=F3
RIGHT REAR VIEW=F4
LEFT FRONT VIEW=F7
LEFT VIEW=F6
LEFT REAR VIEW=F5
UP FRONT VIEW=SHIFT F1
UP RIGHT FRONT VIEW=SHIFT F2
UP RIGHT VIEW=SHIFT F3
UP RIGHT REAR VIEW=SHIFT F4
UP LEFT FRONT VIEW=SHIFT F7
UP LEFT VIEW=SHIFT F6
UP LEFT REAR VIEW=SHIFT F5
INSTRUMENT VIEW=CTRL F1

EDIT:
He raised this issue in another thread, and I advised him to check his "eaw.ini" file in a response. Hence my confusion re- the other person with the Logitech problem.
However, Lonny has not responded frown

Not yet installed. Forgive me, but have been occupied with more pressing tasks. I'll get to it, once things calm down, and will reply once I do so.

FWIW, I am far busier, being "Retired', than ever before. YMMV.
