Afternoon gents. I’m coming back to the game after having not played since about 2016. I am most likely about to buy BH&H II or PE and have a few questions before I do.

Firstly one of the aspects I loved about the earlier version I had was that when I shot down a HA, their name would be listed in my logbook, but I watched a YouTube video in which the streamer said this is no longer the case in the newer versions, could anyone confirm or deny this?

In the earlier version I was also a fan of starting as early as possible and seeing how far I could get date wise so I would like to know the what earliest possible dates and squadrons for each service to be guaranteed a fighter?

Pechorin, I would go for WOFF BH&HII hands down. Soooo much more. I shot down .Richtofen the other day and he was listed in my log. As for being guaranteed a fighter, you can manually create a pilot in a squadron flying scouts at a very early date. I usually don’t fly early so don’t know which ones off the top of my head. I’m sure someone will chime in. Welcome back. The sim has come a long way.

I think the earliest German scout you can fly is with Jasta 15, starting in Dec. '15.
