Our Canadian Prime Minister tells us it is acceptable to wait 4 months between shots. Clearly this has yet to be proven. He says this because there is nothing else he can say to cover up his bungling of the vaccine shortages. In the past year, Canada could have built entire vaccine factories from the ground up for the half-trillion dollars squandered. Instead, the PM blew the money to make certain every last soup kitchen and boy scout troup was 'supported'.

Generally viruses mutate to weaker ‘versions’ so it’s not getting ‘nastier’. I don’t understand / know where to begin with “by design?”

Had my second Astra Zenica vax yestereve. 'Man Flu' overnight, but not as bad as the first. No 5 or even 4G coverage in our village so nanobots not activated. I think to allay any doubts, conspiracy theories or suspicions about the virus, it's impact or government reactions and strategies to fight the pandemic, one only has to look at how the Indian populace are suffering at present.

Weighing in late...
Mom slept the day of and most of the next day after shot number one. Oddly enough, one of the guys on the field who's from Austria had the same symptom. Other than falling out for 24 hours they had no other side effects.
I haven't gotten the vaccine as I'm waiting a bit to make sure the at-risk folks have first shot (pun intended) at it.
At this point I'm kind of ambivalent about it. I worked closely with two people at work (no masks, close contact) that got the 'Rona and I didn't. And they didn't go to the doctor immediately - heck, by the time they went they were probably past the infectious stage. I'm thinking that my General Immunity thanks to the zillion friggin' shots for everything from Measles to three types of the Black Death is covering my hind end.
As to air gun shots, yep, in the late '80's they were still using them in the Army. Flinch and they would cut a soul's arm long and deep.
On microchips: I'm not worried about it. Heck, with all the other vaccinations and donating blood, I'm not just tracked, I'm a repeater station. That probably explains why the doctors insisted I get not one, but two colonoscopies - the batteries needed replacing, no doubt.

On Thursday I take my mom to the gym for the first time in over a year (heated pool therapy, machines, senior exercise classes), so I'll be back in the library twice a week. Friday evening my wife and I are going to Costco for our first grocery shopping in over a year! No more limited-selection deliveries (mostly from a local grocery store, some from Target and Costco). The farmers markets have been nice though, not going to stop getting fresh local produce.

Wife was a front worker at Walmart and I was just hired for the remodel team. There were shortages lasting into this year. Never been afraid of Covid. Not to sure sure about getting the shot after so many co-workers get sick from the shot. Now up 13.

I'm a lot less fearful of Covid now that my parents (in their 80's) are vaccinated. I very rarely go to the movies or eat out (unless I'm on a road trip). My primary outing is attending local Rock shows (sooo missing the Molly Ringwalds), but I doubt these venues will be reopening anytime soon. I'm done with arena concerts but looking forward to open stadium LSU football again (after that horrible last season, our favorite nosebleed seats should be dirt cheap! ). So grocery shopping, Rock shows, a day on campus, and long road trips are what I'm most looking forward to. Also hoping my wife can keep working from home (something her company was embracing before the pandemic). But I'm patient, no rush. Rush. I really miss Rush (would have been my one exception).

Arm is sore, a little less than the 1st shot.
Nothing else so far.

Wife and I both got the shots two weeks ago. Our second Moderna shots. I had a sore arm. She was sick as a dog for one day. Both felt fine after a day. Same with a lot of my co workers. It's like 50-50 as far as some having barely any reaction vs some feeling pretty sick.

I just got my Covid test results - negative, honestly don't know if that's a good thing or bad?
Good. You could have tested as a celebrity!

We've got our shots recently (as noted). Most others we know also have them.
During the last year we mostly stayed inside. Shopping trips for food were "quick" -- to the point. And, if we touched it we bought it. Lots of on-line purchases.
Now, we feel free to be with family, friends, and "in public" -- unmasked with family and friends. We'll continue to be careful "in public" until the "all clear" is signaled.
