I watched the last two seasons of Turn on Netflix.
As a TV show it's not bad. Keeps up the suspense and has some villains that you love to hate. It does start getting really silly by the 4th season. While it may be in a historical setting, they play awfully loose with the facts. Over the course of the series a few of the characters have some fairly good arcs. It's only 4 seasons total.

I watched the first season but got bored by the season finale. That honestly surprised me since I'm a big student of military history so I figured "Turn" would be a perfect series for me. I think in retrospect the series was too "soap operaish" for me.

There's a local TV station over the antenna that airs noir genre films every sunday night from the 30s and 40s, often converted to widescreen format, and it happened to be on one evening and I saw it. Good film. Many of the pictures from that era a great.

Would it be available anywhere else with Argentinian subs instead?

Cheers,

This 7 episode show starts on Apple TV today. I predict every episode is them running from cops and then wait a year for season 2 for some answers to all your questions. Hard Pass!

Just watch the super-boring movie with the same title starring Harrison Ford.

Too many TV series you invest time to watch and then they stick you with wait until next season bull. Then after a year of waiting it's more questions than answers. The worse is when the show gets killed after only one season.

Production schedules for now will be slower than normal until the COVID thing totally blows over. As for the cancellations, it's part of life. If a show isn't getting the necessary viewer numbers to justify the budget, it will be cancelled. That goes for both streaming services and the traditional cable and tv networks.

I remember seeing this when I was a kid in the 80s when it was released on VHS and it was pretty good.

I like slow movies though.

Boring! Thank you Amazon for letting us watch it free as Prime members.

The Navy Seal commander was totally unbelievable, not meaning fantastic, meaning unbelievable. https://jackryan.fandom.com/wiki/Karen_Greer

So do I but only if there's a good reason for it being slow. I don't like slow movies automatically just because they're slow.

Naunton Beauchamp Worcestershi...
Started to watch 'Rocketman', the Elton John biopic on Netflix.
Camp schmaltz. Not very inclusive or 'woke' of me, I went back to the 'home page' due to the gay lovemaking scenes which I find distasteful and somewhat gut-churning.

I've not seen it and I've also not seen "Bohemian Rhapsody" the Queen biopic. It seems rock star biopics are the big hot thing now due to the success of both of those films.
