I was just wondering if WoFF will court martial your pilot for enough friendly kills? I know the old Red Baron series did. I was messing around and testing mods out with my test pilot and downed 6 friendly balloons over several missions and just says you are heavily penalized? lol.

I believe so if it's aircraft you are shooting down rather than technically speaking "objects", but that particular part was written a long time ago.
Try it. Not exactly a major part of the sim to be honest, not many people would normally enjoy shooting their own side down.

A while back, just for grins and giggles , I loaded up a campaign in Jasta 2 in September of 1916 and shot down my flight mates right after take off. Killed Boelcke, von Richtofen, et al several times and in full view of the airfield over maybe five to ten missions. All I ever got were warnings. Not even a demotion. That was in PE. It may be different in BH&H II.

SALUTE TO ALL!

interesting point ...!
Of course a court martial is not the centre of a WW1-flightsim, but on the other side it was reality.
Only for example: you have a collision with a fellow, have hit the wrong groundUnit or the wrong convoy with your bombs, or your flight is starting and you are staying on ground, ... . An official report from your chief or an officiell investigation with all historical-possible results (acquittal, file-informed warning, disciplinary proceedings, penalty transfer, degradation, etc.) would be a enriching feature in my opinion. Of course the system-depending possibility would be the first question!

Greetings!

I created a test pilot to see if my old mission types mod worked with BH&H2 (last used about 5 years ago) and the pilot never left the ground. I would generate the mission, and then exit before even switching the engine on. After about 30 of these 'missions' in which he was bawled out by his CO after each one, he was promoted! I find that totally convincing smile
