I’m involved in this CFS3-project starting from OFF2 and did leave WoFF in favor of flying in VR. Because of VR, I went to BoX only the whole FC1-VR is very sterile, overpriced as it’s nothing more then a cheap RoF swapjob done by Uglymedia and now all the reading about the N28, the plane seems a bit of an disappointing. So I would like to go back to WoFF, I do miss the atmosphere of flying the MS-parasol at the mountains in Belfort region as an sample. Only one thing is keeping me away from BH&H2. I know in the past it was not possible to rendering 3D in VR, but we are now a couple of years later. Are there any possibilities to transfer this WoFF game to 3D VR, with payware like Vorpx? I would likely pay the VorpX or other software if it can generate the 3D in VR for BH&H2. note I will also post this later on the CAforum as its seems its become more crowded.

Hi Dutch
I have vorpx and I couldn't get it to "hook" the cfs3.exe in BH&HII like I had done for UE/PE. So, it didn't work for me and I now am using TrackIR.. Because I can't go back to playing UE/PE after I've experienced the superior BH&HII.

With the 2002 CFS3.exe as the base for WOFF and WOTR and all the other improvements OBD is continuing to work on, I do not think you should hold your breath till they figure out how to get the CFS3.exe to work with VR.

I’m afraid then I have to wait another 2y and (guess) also finding that OBD has moved up to another game engine that can handle VR. Considering that BH&H 2 was released very recently and that further add-on packs will likely be planned in the future, expansions, new aircraft, whatnot, as well as further developments to WOTR - I somehow doubt that a new game engine will miraculously appear in said two years. Best is to explore VR in another sim. and enjoy the aesthetic and oil-painting-like beauties of WOFF via TrackIR instead, or - if you're really retro like me - the venerable padlock view (and mouse view), going strong since the 80s and small CRT monitors. Cheers all, Von S

OBD has put almost 15 years into this game engine. As a result, I do not think they are going to change game engines any time soon (plus I suspect t would cost them money to use another engine versus the free one they have now) since they are basically a three man team.
