KRI Nanggala 402 has been missing since April 21st off the Bali Sea.
Huge effort on the way to search for the sub and hopefully rescue the crew. They are unfortunately expected to run out of O2 about now :-/

The crew had apparently been pushed to the limit. Maybe human error during rig for dive, leading to mechanical failure or electrical fire and eventual loss of control.

why subs alway go silent ? wouldnt they have some sort of black box like planes emitting radio or gps whatever for emergency like this ?

They have a huge coastline, why wouldn't they have a navy?

The country is made out of over 17,000 islands.
That’s how much Indonesia needs a Navy.
