It was the latest and I think that 1.16.1 was one of the most important milestones in EECH moding history.
I hope it was not the end of this great journey for EECH!

"All the best" from me, too. I'm still building my new homepit project at the moment (its a big effort) and it's main focus is on DCS/P3D now, but I haven't forgotten my beloved EECH.

I will return to it if all the other things are running and it's also planned to be a part of the new pit, if possible. EECH is still the most versatile attack helicopter simulation out there and the only one with a dynamic campaign. I'm still loving it regardless of its aging graphics and I also have still my MI-28 cockpit project and the AH-1F project in mind

I hope I can finish them in future, but there is still a lot of work at the pit.

There was a 1.16.2 update to fix a few things after this one, but you're right it was a big release.



I've almost got my Blackhawk flyable from the pilot and co-pilot seats. I had a breakthrough on it this morning after about a week of trying to figure out some code. Just a few minor things to fix, then it's ready for testing.

Does Multiplayer still work in this sim - and more importantly - Does anyone have any interest in giving it a GO ?

What version of the Comanche cockpit is shown in this video ?

I froze the video and opened up the game on the screen beside it and there are a lot of differences.

The general layout is the same, but buttons are different. Yellow/black diagonal striping around Master Caution is missing. Layout of warning lights is different. Fire buttons are different layout and the panel with the comanche graphic is also different.

There is also a button/switch sticking out above the landing gear panel that isn't on the current cockpit.

Was this an earlier version or did I miss something ?

BTW brilliant video showcase of the game !!

That's Rapota's mod. He did improvements to a lot of the helos, but there were some issues remaining with surface smoothing and lod models that are still to be resolved. You can get the mod on eech.online
